MontiPower grows industrial market presence
Finding the right talent to support market expansion is important. MontiPower recently faced that challenge while looking to grow awareness of a specialized product line across several industrial sectors, including manufacturing, wind energy, mobility and signage.
According to Nathan Knight, president with MontiPower, the partnership with BIC developed naturally through the company’s involvement with BIC’s industrial network and events.
“We wanted to create a sales position to focus on developing our MBX line where we have really interesting belt technologies for diverse surface preparation applications,” said Knight.
While MontiPower’s Bristle Blaster is already well known within the coatings industry, the company saw significant opportunity to grow its MBX line across manufacturing, wind energy, automotive, mobility and other industrial markets requiring lower surface profile preparation.
Finding the right fit for the role meant focusing as much on personality and long-term potential as technical experience.
“We were seeking a candidate that had a good understanding of coatings and surface preparation, but really we were looking for someone that would fit well within our existing team and had a great capacity for growth,” Knight explained.
Through the recruiting process, BIC Recruiting helped MontiPower identify candidates who aligned with both the company’s culture and business goals.
“The entire recruitment process was easy and straightforward,” Knight said.
That process ultimately led MontiPower to hire Brody Cockrell, who Knight said quickly stood out as the right fit for the organization.
